In 2026 students had the opportunity to go on camp to Sovereign Hill. In the lead up to the camp, we investigated “The Goldrush” where students read about the life of miners, learned why miners travelled to Australia to search for gold, and investigated different strategies miners used to find gold. On camp students participated in a range of activities to learn all about life on the goldfields!

Camp was also a great chance for the students to develop resilience and independence while staying away from home with their peers.

We had the best time!
