Grade 2 students have been developing their writing through ‘All About Me’ pieces and recounts, focusing on clearly retelling past events. They have followed the writing process of planning, drafting, editing, revising, and publishing.
Students are also building their skills by using time connectives to sequence events and applying “show, don’t tell” to make their writing more engaging and descriptive.
