During term 1 in Numeracy, we have been learning all about Statistics. The students have loved surveying their classmates and creating their own picture graphs, building their skills in collecting and displaying data in fun and meaningful ways.
More recently, we have begun exploring bar graphs; looking at their features and how they help us present information clearly.
After gathering their data, students worked together in small groups to interpret what their graphs showed. This can be a tricky skill, but it was wonderful to see everyone giving it a go with such enthusiasm and teamwork.
We are so proud of our Grade One students and the fantastic progress they are making!
