The 1/2s are learning about giving and following directions in maths, by using directional language such as left, right, forward and backward. To test their abilities to do this, we set up an obstacle course in which they had to give verbal instructions to their blind folded partner to get them through and across all the different obstacles. This gave them plenty of opportunity to practice giving the directions but also to practice listening to and following the directions given. It was a successful day with all groups making it safely through the course! We still need some additional practice to improve our skills in giving and following directions however and are looking forward to the next adventure in numeracy.

You actually make it appear really easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I believe I might never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m taking a look forward for your next post, I will try to get the cling of it! 뉴토끼
