In 5/6 we have made a start on our persuasive unit. The students have had some great discussions about different worldly topics that they feel strongly about. It is great to hear all the diverse ideas and suggestions that they have for their writing and for each other. This unit has sparked some really interesting and insightful conversations amongst the students, which has allowed them to broaden and deepen their thinking to get their opinion across and share their arguments. The students have shown how passionate they are about certain topics and why it is so important that we make a change!
