National Day against BULLYING!

What a busy time we have been having in 5/6 at the moment. Friday the 15th of March was National Day Against Bullying and the 5/6's participated a two hour lesson learning about what bullying is and how to not be a bystander. Students created a slogan with how they believe we can stop bullying. Students learnt about a variety of strategies that can be used when faced with bullying or being a witness to bullying. They did an excellent job role playing the use of these strategies. We hope that teaching them these strategies they will be able to respond to future conflict in a positive way. They will be an Upstander not a Bystander.

This content is simply exciting and creative. I have been deciding on a institutional move and this has helped me with one aspect.بت
