5/6 Reading

In Term 2 in Grade 5/6 we are entering our Book Club unit. This unit involves every students in a small group book club, where we are reading high quality texts to meet and discuss each week. The focus for these lessons is around having deep, strong discussions that include every group member. We want to build upon each other's points to create interesting conversations, that give students space to challenge each other respectfully while encouraging each other to think of new perspectives. The students and teachers are very excited about this unit!
