We have been working hard in Prep to inquire about our words and look for patterns or be able to solve why different words are spelt in different ways. We have done this by collaborating with others, making lists, looking at real and nonsense words and doing lots of talking while we play games. We learnt about turning words in to plurals by adding s or es and we looked at different onset and rime, we created words and then we looked at our lists to sort our words!
