In our Writer’s Workshop, our 3/4’s have been enhancing their skills as narrative writers. They began by breaking down narratives and determining the essential elements of what makes a strong narrative piece. Students have since spent time creating imaginative ideas for the focus of their narratives, determined the importance of strong characters, and have visualised and developed detailed scenes for the settings of their narratives. They have been working so hard on developing these skills, and as a result we are seeing some fantastic authors emerge!
