We have had a fantastic start to 2017 in 5/6A. Our students have began creating their Writer's Notebook which they will use each writing lesson for writing inspiration. At the beginning of each lesson, we complete 5 minutes of 'low stakes writing' which involves 5 minutes of writing about whatever comes to mind at that moment. The students have come up with some very creative ideas including looking into the future, writing a bucket list, writing a sizzling start to a narrative, writing speeches and even writing songs! Mrs V and Miss White are very impressed and are looking forward to a great year of learning ahead.
