Our grade 1/2 students attended Mont de Lancey where they experienced firsthand the history of early Australia as it was in the Wandin district. They participated in a variety of hands-on activities, olden day games, making lavender bags, wood turning, which highlighted the differences between the past and the present. They understood both the hardships and the joys that early settlers experienced in their daily lives.
