The grade 1/2 students have begun their swimming program this week at the Yarra Centre in Yarra Junction! We are having a fantastic time learning about water safety and working on our swimming strokes so that we can grow into strong, confident swimmers! We are doing an amazing job at showing respect to all members of our community including our bus drivers, our swimming instructors and other people using the pool. We are having such a great time with our friends and we can’t wait until we start back again next week!
What a great recap of the swimming activities — it’s clear how much effort, teamwork, and confidence these students built through the program! Swimming is such an important skill and a fun way to stay active, and it’s wonderful to see the pride and encouragement in your photos and write‑up. It even made me think about how preparation and attention to detail matter in very different areas too — whether you’re coaching swimmers or choosing services from marine insulation companies & marine pipe insulation for a project, thoughtful planning and quality work make a huge difference in the results.
