5/6 Book Clubs

Currently all the 5/6 students are taking part in a book club. Students were given a range of books to look through and then pick which one they would like to read. The book clubs meet weekly and students engage in ‘literature discussions’ as a response to what they are reading. Students discuss confusions, ask clarifying and wondering questions, raise reactions or connections and make predictions. Book clubs are a great way to get our students discussing their thoughts and talking about reading.
