School Profile

Location

Woori Yallock is situated in the upper reaches of the Yarra Valley 56km from Melbourne. It is set in a picturesque valley featuring open pastures, meandering rivers and creeks. The heavily timbered Warburton Ranges dominate the northern side of the valley.

The township, previously a small collection of 2 or 3 shops, has expanded rapidly during the late 1980's into a township of approximately 2,500 people and a small but modern shopping complex.

The area is a friendly combination of rural and urban dwellers. There is an obvious feeling of community spirit due to a country atmosphere within the area.

Enrolment

The school caters for children from Prep to Grade 6. Children entering the school have generally attended the local Woori Yallock Pre School however enrolments are taken from all areas and may be accepted at any time.
